Accounting Clerk

Award-winning and beautiful private condominium community in Coconut Creek, Florida, is searching for a dependable, hard-working, self-motivated individual for the role of Accounting Clerk in the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine accounting, data entry and clerical task relating to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Input payments, run edit list, check for accuracy and reconcile to bank deposits.
  • Provides coupons to new residents.
  • Handle Internal & External Inquiries regarding status of accounts
  • Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor in the preparation and data entry of check request.
  • Compare invoices with purchase order for accuracy.
  • Responds to phone calls.
  • Organize and maintain filing system for A/R and A/P.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethics, and commitment to working effectively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Problem solver, adaptability, ability to analyze data and ability to take initiative.

Required Experience and Training

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
