Accounts Payable Specialist
California Real Estate ManagementCalifornia Real Estate Management (CARE) company is looking for a full-time AP Specialist to come and join the team at their San Jose, CA corporate office.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices by matching to purchase orders within their accounting software.
- Post and code invoices to the proper account and entity.
- Prepare weekly check register, process check run or wire payment, and provide AP aging report.
- Organize and manage invoice files (electronic and paper versions).
- Ownership of month-end AP close.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare 1099-Misc to vendors and help with year-end audit requests.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
- Excellent organization skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to accurately enter information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Real Page experience preferred
- Property Management experience preferred
