Accounts Payable Specialist

California Real Estate Management (CARE) company is looking for a full-time AP Specialist to come and join the team at their San Jose, CA corporate office.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices by matching to purchase orders within their accounting software.
  • Post and code invoices to the proper account and entity.
  • Prepare weekly check register, process check run or wire payment, and provide AP aging report.
  • Organize and manage invoice files (electronic and paper versions).
  • Ownership of month-end AP close.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare 1099-Misc to vendors and help with year-end audit requests.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Excellent organization skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to accurately enter information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Real Page experience preferred
  • Property Management experience preferred
