We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our growing team in Northeast Anaheim. This role will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and will report directly to the CFO. This is a great company with a great, positive, and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements as well as other general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and other adjusting entries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Assist with annual review and provide necessary information to outside CPA firm.
  • Support AP and AR functions on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Preparation and proper maintenance of accounting workpapers that are easy to follow.
  • Other accounting functions and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Open to individuals who do not have an accounting degree but must have drive.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping minimum.
  • Strong capabilities in working with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to “speak” debits and credits.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
