Accounting Assistant
Beans and BrewsBeans & Brews Coffeehouse is a fast paced, fast growing local industry leader, with nearly 30 years in the coffee industry, and over 85 corporate and franchise locations throughout Utah and the Mountain West. Beans & Brews specializes in coffee roasting, preparing specialty coffee and non-coffee beverages, sandwiches, snacks, and treats, and providing extraordinary Guest experiences throughout our Coffeehouses. Beans & Brews is seeking an Accounting Assistant with education or prior experience in basic accounting functions.
This is a full-time position with a minimum average hour requirement of 40 hours per week, and an approximate schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The starting wage for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 annually based on experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accounting Assistant is primarily responsible for performing clerical, filing and data entry tasks for accounts payable, billing and receivables, as well as managing and reconciling accounts with financial data. The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the VP of Finance and Assistant Controller. Job requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Data entry
· Document scanning and filing
· Managing the UPS account and other shipping tasks
· Manages incoming and outgoing mail
· Preparation of documents, reports, and other administrative tasks
· Office management, including office supply purchasing, and oversight of janitorial and maintenance contractors.
· Warehouse Inventory Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Basic Accounting knowledge – prior bookkeeping experience required.
· Articulate with a strong attention to detail.
· Professional attitude and demeanor – excellent spoken and written communication skills.
· Comfortable with technology.
· Proficient with Microsoft 365 – including outlook, excel, word, teams.
· Organized and efficient.
· Proactive and willing to take ownership of work-product.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
· Open to learn new processes and expand skill set.
· NetSuite and/or Restaurant 365 experience a huge plus (but not required)!
