The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the processing of the weekly and bi-weekly payrolls and other miscellaneous duties that pertain to the payroll and payroll tax area. Research and resolve discrepancies with employee earnings, deductions and all other payroll payments. Works closely with respective divisions and assist division personnel with payroll and system related issues. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work a must. Submit ACH information for employee payments as DD. Oversees the assigned division's payroll porcess to ensure all reports and journals are in balance for posting GL. Responsible for garnishment processing as needed. Position requires overtime on payroll processing days.

Major Duties/Responsibilities of Position:

Preparation of payroll input, collecting of time sheet data, commissions and bonus information.
Calculate hours worked, OT, other earnings, gross pay, deductions and required withholdings and earnings.
Set up/change/terminate employee Direct Deposits banking information
Prepare and process payroll reports and checks
Submits ACH file to bank for interim payments
Maintain PTO information in JDE
Process garnishments weekly/bi-weekly
Correct and post Journal Entries to GL
Review & Balancing annually of W2's
Reconcile payroll taxes and deposit to GL


Background/Experience Required:

Minimum 5-6 years payroll experience (in house processing preferred)
Experience with payroll procedures, wage & hour law, CA labor law, union requirements
Personal and mainframe computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, JDE System experience preferred
Knowledgable of garnishment payroll processing
Time and attendance system experience required (e-time, Kronos preferred)
