Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client accounts on a regular basis and identify outstanding debts
  • Proactively determine solutions for handling unique billing situations
  • Ensure billing notes & signatures are on file to ensure compliance with funding regulations
  • Supervise accounts to identify unresolved debts; follow up with funding entity on overdue accounts
  • Manage office operations and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting clients both in-person and over the phone.
  • Perform and oversee all daily billing functions in integrated systems
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
  • Utilize Google Suite applications for document creation, scheduling, and communication.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to support various projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.

Skills

  • Proficiency in office management practices and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative capabilities to support daily operations.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to adapt to new software quickly.
  • Proficient typing skills for efficient documentation and correspondence.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
