Are you an experienced accounting co-ordinator looking for your next opportunity? VITEC have a fantastic role available based at our office in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an in-office role co-ordinating all the accounting associated specifically to our VITEC US offices.

Between our east coast office in Atlanta, Georgia and our west coast office in Sunnyvale, California, VITEC has regional locations throughout the USA. About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller (who is Scotland based), this position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, accounts associated to VITEC US offices. This position manages customer and supplier invoicing, receiving cash, arranging payment of suppliers and ensuring that accurate data entry into the accounts system.

The successful candidate will evaluate day-to-day activities regarding general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue assets, costs and payroll as well as having responsibility for verifying credit limits and applicable payment terms and ensuring customer invoices collection.

In addition, the role provides an interface between the finance and human resource department to provide accurate and useful information to employees and be the local point of contact for finance questions from the Vitec US teams.

What you’ll do

  • Customer management – Set up, invoicing and payment processing
  • Purchase Management – Supplier set up and payment processing
  • Expenses Management – Expenses claims and reporting
  • Payroll co-ordination – Coordinate the pulling of payroll summary reports and entry into ERP system on a bi-weekly basis and co-ordinate for commission payments on a quarterly basis.
  • Profit and Loss/Balance Sheet – Maintenance of fixed asset register, profit and loss and queries.
  • Sales Tax Co-ordination – Reconcile reports
  • State Registration and renewals – Manage state registration and business licences renewals as required.

In addition, maintain relationships with the wider VITEC US Teams, operations, marketing, sales and product management.

You will have:

  • Proven working experience as an accounting Assistant/Co-ordinator
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software (ERP preferred) and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer Relationship Management software familiarity
  • Sales tax return experience
  • Ability to work with different teams across the company and the wider group

Education/Experience

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Proven years of experience of similar work or combined education and experience.
