Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to oversee billing and collections processes within our manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, resolving payment discrepancies, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AR functions, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, with a primary focus on billing and collections.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Lead collection efforts by communicating with customers via email and phone to resolve overdue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and deductions by coordinating with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
- Analyze customer payment patterns and assess credit risks to minimize bad debt exposure.
- Assist in setting credit limits and managing credit approvals for new and existing customers.
- Prepare and maintain AR-related reports, including cash forecasts, aging analysis, and collection metrics.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
