In-House Accountant – Full Charge Bookkeeper

Our accounting firm is assisting a highly successful Italian restaurant in Maitland in recruiting a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage their in-house accounting operations. As their accountants, we will be conducting the selection of qualified candidates on their behalf.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office, including Excel. Sage experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions with the support of an A/P clerk
Prepare multi-profit center financial statements, process payroll, and handle quarterly filings
Manage sales tax preparation and compliance
Work directly with the restaurant owner and coordinate with an external CPA firm

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (Sage experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
