Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for handling administrative tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports for management.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with tax filings, budgeting, and financial planning as needed.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and employees regarding financial transactions and office-related matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficiency of the office.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
